Our Purpose

Advancing context-responsive nursing knowledge and practice.

JRTN supports the development and application of nursing knowledge in settings where geography, climate, infrastructure, occupation, culture, and socioeconomic conditions shape health risks and access to care. Particular attention is given to rural health nursing, tropical nursing, Agronursing, community-based care, and healthcare innovations appropriate for underserved populations.
