Information for Authors

Thank you for considering the Journal of Rural and Tropical Nursing (JRTN) as a venue for your scholarly work. JRTN welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of nursing science and interdisciplinary healthcare, particularly in rural, remote, tropical, and resource-limited settings.

“Every published article begins with a meaningful contribution to science and society.”

Before You Submit

Before submitting your manuscript, we strongly encourage authors to review the following resources:

  • Read the About the Journal page to understand the journal's aims, scope, editorial policies, and publication ethics.
  • Carefully follow the Author Guidelines when preparing your manuscript.
  • Ensure that your submission complies with the journal's formatting, ethical, and reporting requirements.

Submission Process

Authors must register before submitting a manuscript. If you already have an account, simply log in and begin the online submission process through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Every submission undergoes an initial editorial assessment to evaluate its suitability for the journal. Manuscripts that meet the journal's standards are subsequently evaluated through a rigorous double-anonymous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and research integrity.
